Organizing the throne room

Happy Friday!

Good news, if you're reading this, then you survived the week and I'm sure you're just as ready for the weekend as we are! To help jump start you're weekend and keep you organized we're talking about the most important (yet hated) room in the house...the bathroom. Yes, even the not-so royal throne needs a spotlight too!

The loo, washroom, pot, latrine, lavatory, head or simply the bathroom

No matter what you call it, when it's calling - you need it! We have come up with some great ways to organize your bathroom and keep things fresh and neat! Between makeup, first aid, bathroom tools, and even reminders we've got you covered this week!

Tze231
This idea is very easy to do and makes looking for any bathroom item a breeze! You can find these little plastic drawers at your local - dare I say - big box for under $15. I used the TZe-231 1/2 inch black on white label to create a neat, laminated, and durable label. With your label maker you can create any custom label title you might need to create something like this for your home.

Here is a similar idea to the photos above just using larger plastic drawers for storage. The labels being used here are also the TZe231 1/2 inch black on white tape.

Here is another example of a great way to organize products that you might have in excess, such as lipstick, razors, or what not. These little plastic trays were from Walmart and they were under $3. Used here is the TZe231 1/2 inch black on white label.

Want to know the trick to organization? MASON JARS! Am-I-Right? They can come in all sizes and colors and are the perfect way to keep small items together and neat! Here is an example using Q-Tips, but also try combs, toothbrushes, eyeliners, lip pencils, or whatever you're creative brain is thinking! Used here is the TZe231 Label

One organizing idea that is very important to think about is your first-aid items. When the time comes that you're not feeling well or you need a band-aid you don't want to be caught looking all around the house in a panic for the items you need. Keep everything together and clearly labeled to help ensure a speedy recovery! Parents, these bins are under $10 and are great to have on hand for when babysitters are over!

While this idea doesn't add any additional organization ideas to your home, these labels can be a great way to friendly remind the little ones (or sometimes even the big ones) to brush, floss, or flush when in the bathroom! Think about adding little reminders to other parts of your home such as light swtiches, doors, or even alarm systems. Featured here is the TZe232 1/2 inch red on white label and the TZeS951 1 inch black on silver label

I hope you have found some of these tips useful for your home! Join us next week to see the results of our lifetime label test, where we put our TZe labels to the test.

Until next week,
